"My Cultural Background Presentation"

October twenty-second marked the day
I would have stand in front of the class and say
"my family came here after living by the Indian Ocean,
we still follow Indian traditions with great devotion"

I am glad I did not resort to procrastination
I asked for help from my family's previous generations
My grandmother told me all about her childhood
She talked in broken up english but I still understood

My next challenge was the bulletin board
I hope it gets an A+ when its scored
I tackled my powerpoint next
I tried not to jumble it with a lot of text

I tried to be different so I added a multiple choice test
Everyone answered the questions correctly and I was impressed
Although it was stressful
I believe my presentation was quite successful

  1. I like this poem a lot. It seems like you had no problem putting your ideas into a poem because nothing was left out. Good job on the poem and on your presentation, Sagar ! :)

  2. I thought you did a great job on your presentation as you did on your poem. I can appreciate that you included more than one hardship that you went through in your cultural background presentation.
